Al-Kaiul var udtaget til Fessalin Al-Miqiums allerførste landskamp, men kom ikke på banen, og kort efter måtte han — i en alder af blot 25 år — stoppe med at spille fodbold på grund af et uheld. Under en løbetur i skoven ramte han en gren så uheldigt, at den borede sig ind i hans højre lår og ødelagde noget væv.

Midtbanespilleren gjorde sin handelsuddannelse færdig, og fra sæson 27 begyndte han dertil at træne drenge- og senere junior- og ynglingehold i sin klub [[Kameel Al-Sobeit]]. Fra sæson 31 blev han træner for klubbens seniorhold, som han i 33 førte op i den øverste fessalinske række.
