Fodboldspiller fra Nolaere. Den spinkle midtbanespiller havde ikke været det helt store i sit hjemland, men fik succes i Trokollonne, hvor han blev årets spiller i 29. Det indbragte ham en kontrakt med den skolske storklub [[Ulverød (klub)|Ulverød]], der har tradition for nolaerianske spillere. I Friñas tilfælde tog rejsen til denne forjættede klub altså en usædvanlig omvej.

Herefter blev han prøvet på [[Nolaeres landshold]]. Han scorede i sin debutlandskamp, og det var godt timet, for det skete i den sidste kamp inden [[TIFO Gold Cup 30]]-slutrunden og indbragte ham en plads i truppen. Han fik to halve kampe under slutrunden.

I en alder af 35 år var der faktisk bud efter ham fra [[Gaffelborg UB]], som til sæson 36 manglede en rutineret mand på midtbanen. Han var smigret men afslog, og tog så i øvrigt endnu en sæson for [[Lavon (klub)|Lavon]].
