De fire første sæsoner af sin trænerkarriere kom han lidt omkring i mindre klubber inkl. Alouang Prof. League-klubben [[FC del Mar Rio Bulumens]]. 
Herefter gik turen til hjemlandet [[Friholcanso]] - hvor han kun har spillet som barn - til [[WB Onnoso]]. Opgaven lød ganske enkelt: »Skab et hold med international klasse, der kan hamle op med kontinentets bedste klubber.« Og det gjorde han. I første sæson - 34 - vandt holdet pokalen, de fik sølv i anden sæson og i sæson 36 vandet de mesterskabet og [[BURFcup]]'en. Med kun lokale spillere og en enkelt ikke særlig kendt korlarizbo. Efter denne sæson meddelte klubben, at den i sæson 37 ville indkøbe et par profiler yderligere, og gerne et par stykker fra udlandet.

Far til professionel fodboldspiller [[Celvin Lasse Sobkunin]], som er hans eneste barn. Han har kendt moderen siden de gik i 7. klasse sammen, og de blev gift 6 måneder før deres søns fødsel. 
Søn af professionel træner, fhv. professionel fodboldspiller [[Colvin Sobkunin]].
