Fodboldspiller fra Weisserland. I en U21-landskamp i Ørden i 31 scorede han tre mål. Weisserland vandt 4:0, og scoringerne bragte dengang Zöthes op på 4 mål i 5 U21-landskampe.
Fra sæson 36 skiftede han til WB Liebchheim sammen med sin klub- og U21-landsholdskammerat, det ambitiøse målmandstalent Martin Narau, mens Felix Dorph overraskende afslog.
Blot et år senere kastede Worldbank-forbindelsen en profkontrakt af sig, idet Zöthes kom til weviske WB Hampton som den første udlænding overhovedet.
