Det er kun, når han spiller fodbold, at han ikke bærer stammens klædedragt — og det var først i en alder af 20 år, at han kunne gøre sig forståelig på eronesisk. Hans kærlighed til fodbold var grunden til, at han satte sig for at lære sproget.
