Fodboldspiller fra Baringers Land. Ingen regnede med, at han ville blive så god, og slet ikke så hurtigt, men allerede som 20-årig spillede Willi Quast med om startpladserne i SpVgg. Sönigs angreb.
Quast er lang (1,90 m) og spinkel — og har selv sagt, at han mangler fysik til at komme på A-landsholdet. Derfor tog han ved hjælp af styrketræning og “omvendt diæt” 10 kg på i løbet af sæson 35 og er alligevel fortsat i besiddelse af en fremragende boldbehandling og adræthed.
