Fodboldtræner og tidligere -spiller fra Lord-Terrier-Land (egtl. Richard). Lorty var fast landsholdsmålmand det meste af sæson 25, før han pludselig røg ud i kulden igen, måske på grund af hans klubs dårlige resultater det år (WB Westwimpton endte som nummer sjok). Otte år senere blev han prøvet som tredjevalg til Lord-Terrier-Lands TIFO Gold Cup 33-trup uden at blive udtaget.
Han sluttede sin spillerkarriere som 40-årig, hvorefter han overtog trænerposten i sin klub WB Westwimpton.
